Farncombe Estate Day Course

When learning to paint in watercolour, a good grasp of the basic techniques in handling your materials is essential. Paul will guide you through all of the fundamental techniques he uses to create a painting, from laying controlled washes, to wet in wet and dry brush work, as well as how to apply these techniques to various elements in your own painting. He will also cover the importance of tonal sketches, planning your painting and choosing materials.
