CAPTURE THE SILVER COAST, HISTORIC OBIDOS AND LOCAL VILLAGES
IN WATERCOLOUR - 10th - 17th OCTOBER 2026
Join me on this exciting opportunity to paint in the picturesque medieval town of Obidos and along the
Silver Coast just north of Lisbon. There is so much to paint in and around Obidos, from traditional houses
with pots, flowers and creepers, to imposing buildings such as the Castle and churches all within pedestrianised
cobbled streets.
We will probably spend a couple of days in Obidos, but there are also subjects outside of the town, including impressive
churches, small houses and streets. We will also visit Caldas Da Rainha with its many historic buildings, a market
(some days) and a lake with reflections. We will also visit the Silver Coast and paint coastal towns such as Nazare,
Sao Martinho do Porto and/or Peniche which include the imposing Fort of Peniche.

PAINT BEAUTIFUL COTSWOLD VILLAGES IN WATERCOLOUR - 6th - 10th JUNE 2027
The South Cotswolds are an inspiring area to paint, with locations including the famous Lacock,
stunning Biddestone and peaceful Steeple Ashton. The village of Nunney with it's castle
and the Kennet and Avon Canal are other potential locations and with Bradford-on-Avon nearby to
the hotel, we will not be short of wondeful subject matter.

CAPTURE THE LAKES, MOUNTAINS & RIVERS OF THE LAKE DISTRICT IN WATERCOLOUR
27th JUNE - 1st JULY 2027
The Lake District has long been a favourite location for the landscape painter and with subjects such as bridges,
waterfalls, cascading rivers, rocks, villages, churches and castles to explore, it's easy to understand why!
Join me on this great opportunity to paint secluded spots around Lake Windermere such as Waterhead and Fell Foot Park,
along with views of Elterwater in the Langdale Valley, Hawkshead or Cartmel. Stott Park Bobbin Mill and Sizergh Castle,
south of Windermere are other great locations to visit.
