18th MARCH 2026 - SKETCHING TECHNIQUES IN PEN & WASH
Pen and wash is a great combination of media, perfect for making a quick sketch outdoors,
but equally effective for creating more resolved work in the studio. Paul will cover a range of sketching
and painting techniques, working from observation out doors if the weather is good, as well as photo
reference in the studio.
8th JULY 2026 - SUMMER COTSWOLD LANDSCAPES IN WATERCOLOUR
Windrush Village is a truly inspiring location, surrounded by wonderful landscape subjects and Paul will
focus on the essentials of painting skies, trees, foliage, buildings and water. He will combine studio practice
with working out doors if the weather is good.
29th OCTOBER 2026 - ATMOSPHERIC NIGHT SCENES IN WATERCOLOUR
Paul will cover techniques for capturing the effects of firelight, moonlight and the lights of the city
reflecting in wet streets in a loose, impressionistic style.
