27th MAY 2021 - FROM SKETCHBOOK TO WATERCOLOUR

On this Course, Paul will guide you through his process of gathering sketchbook reference material 

outside and using it to produce a creative watercolour back it the studio. Some sketching experience 

will be useful as well as being comfortable with a short walk round the local landscape and river.

28th JULY 2021 - WATER AND REFLECTIONS (Re-scheduled from April 15th due to Covid)

Paul will focus on techniques for capturing reflections in the landscape such as rivers, lakes and harbours,

as well as how this can be applied to rain, wet roads and pavements in the city.

7th & 8th SEPTEMBER 2021 - AUTUMN LANDSCAPE IN WATERCOLOUR

Paul will guide you through his techniques for painting the autumn landscape in a loose,

impressionistic style. Including tips on composition, colour mixing and capturing the

key landscape elements of skies, trees and foliage, buildings and water. He will take the group

outdoors (if weather allows) to paint en plein air.
